WebI also deleted the Crytek program folder, which it doesn't do automatically. I then reinstalled again, same way as above, and also installed GameSpy Comrade this time. (no idea if this made any difference). I can now launch Crysis by running crysis.exe in the Bin64 folder (NOT crysis64.exe), and can now run it successfully in 64-bit mode.
